Uhuru Academy, born of creativity and community collaboration, overcame financial challenges by leveraging reciprocal relationships. The "Community Classroom" model revolutionized African-centered education, engaging Black entrepreneurs, activists, and youth-serving professionals as direct stakeholders. This collective effort redefined education as a dynamic, inclusive movement—more than a school, a transformative journey empowering the community and youth.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Education
At Uhuru Academy Online, we prepare students for STEAM careers through hands-on, project-based learning, mentorship, and industry partnerships. Our curriculum fosters creativity, critical thinking, and cultural relevance, emphasizing Afrikan contributions. Our Afrikan-Centered Journey
Uhuru Academy pioneered virtual education in 2015, deliberately embracing the digital realm for global accessibility. Today, we lead as the first Afrikan-Centered live online private school.
