The Uhuru Academy is made up of a variety of programs, projects, and/or initiatives that are designed to move the African community toward self discovery, self reliance, and self determination.

Uhuru Academy Online: Tailored for grades 3-12, our live, interactive education fosters cultural foundations and essential skills five days a week via ZOOM. Operation Reconnect

Operation Reconnect is an accelerated high school diploma program that combines academic achievement, career exploration, and goal setting to provide older youth and adults ages 16 and up with the opportunity to "reconnect" with education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Uhuru Academy Consultation and Training

The Uhuru Academy specializes in training and consulting services for homeschooling parents, community programs, and schools (public, private, charter, and school districts) with a focus on improving academic outcomes for African/African-American students. Their areas of expertise include cultural competence, youth entrepreneurship, violence prevention/intervention, and curriculum development.
